This hyena is definitely a female despite what it may look like. Do a Google search to find out more. In October of 2010 I spent two weeks volunteering at The Lion Park in South Africa. The Lion Park considers itself neither a zoo nor a reserve. There is more care and keeping of their animals than most zoos but there is also a bit more containment than most reserves. Princey was one of the resident hyenas seen on a daily basis by visitors to the park and the resident employees/volunteers. The Lion Park is an extremely humane and caring place for these animals to live and they are treated with the utmost respect and constant nurture. This video was captured out of pure coincidence.
